We’re always looking for ways to make your journey through our world more rewarding, engaging, and, above all, fun. Today, we are going to take a look at the new Collection Score system, involving a new sub-currency, called AURY Shards. These two key features are set to transform how you progress and earn in the game.

The Heart of the Experience: The Collection Score

One of our main goals with this update is to simplify how rewards are distributed within the game while making sure every asset you own has meaningful utility. Enter the Collection Score — a dynamic reflection of your in-game achievements and assets.

What is the Collection Score?

Your Collection Score is a cumulative metric based on the Prime assets you own within the game. The more assets you collect, the higher your score, which directly impacts how much AURY can be earned. It’s designed to give each asset, from your favourite Neftie to those coveted collectibles, a purpose in your progression.

Why It Matters

We want to ensure a fair and proportionate distribution of the weekly AURY pool to all players — whether a seasoned veteran or a new adventurer.

Unleashing the Power of AURY Shards

The Collection Score is just one piece of the puzzle. To make your efforts in Seekers of Tokane truly pay off, we’re introducing AURY Shards—your ticket to earning AURY, the game’s primary currency.

What are AURY Shards?

As you embark on quests, battle in PvP matches, and explore new lands, you’ll earn AURY Shards. These shards are the fruits of your labor, converted into AURY at the end of each week during our Weekly AURY Distribution (WAD). The higher your Collection Score, the more AURY Shards you’ll earn for each action, making every step in your adventure more rewarding.

How to Earn AURY Shards

Various ways to earn AURY Shards in Seekers of Tokane

Whether you’re hatching assets, amplifying your prized possessions, or taking down formidable bosses, almost every in-game action now contributes to your weekly tally of AURY Shards. However, keep in mind that there’s a daily limit on how many Shards you can collect in order to limit farming bots or abusers whilst ensuring an enjoyable and balanced experience for all players.

The Impact on Your Game: New Rules and Rewards

To keep things fair and competitive, we’ve introduced a few additional rules:

Collection Score Fluctuations: Your Collection Score may fluctuate based on your actions and acquisitions during the week. If your score decreases, so will the number of AURY Shards you earn.

Rank System: Your rank within the game is now tied to your Collection Score, and moving up (or down) in ranks will affect the rewards you receive. You’ll receive notifications if your rank changes, keeping you informed on your standing.

Daily and Weekly Challenges: Completing these challenges is now more critical than ever, offering substantial boosts to your AURY Shard earnings.

Impact on the Weekly AURY Distribution

At the end of each week during the WAD, we calculate how much AURY you should be awarded from the AURY pool. This is done by multiplying your Collection Score by the number of AURY Shards you collected, the result represents the proportion of AURY from the pool that you should obtain versus other players.

Collection Score Roadmap

  • Phase 1 (September)
The Collection Score is visible to all players, but is not attached to the WAD or any other reward mechanisms.

  • Phase 2
The Collection Score is attached to OKA earnings.

    1. PVP remains the only way to earn AURY from the WAD.
    2. During this time, your Collection Score multiplied by your OKA earnings will equal your proportion of AURY earned from the WAD
  • Phase 3
Aury shards replace OKA and TOKE sub-currencies.
    3. AURY Shards can be earned by completing both PVE and PVP actions.
    4. AURY Shards are connected to the Collection Score, and the WAD. This will be done by making the “Collection Score multiplied by AURY Shards” formula the new way for players to earn from the WAD.
