Brand New Way to Explore!
As we aim to provide a more challenging and immersive experience for Seekers, we're introducing the World Map, a new way to explore the biomes of Tokane! The map features 6 unique regions, or biomes, with only the Meadows unlocked by default when you begin your journey. From there, players can choose which region they want to unlock next through gameplay.
Each region is divided into stages, with multiple lands to explore. For you to unlock the next stage, you will need to prepare and face a Guardian Neftie. Watch out Seeker, these Guardians will test your strategy and skills.
The 6 regions are teeming with unique Nefties, each bringing their own set of abilities. While only one region will be unlocked by default, Seekers will need to find and use Sentinel Cores to unlock additional biomes.
Sentinel Cores are a new resource introduced into the game, dropped by a new type of enemy, the Sentinel, that you'll encounter randomly as you explore Tokane. Keep your eyes peeled for them as they are key to unlocking new regions and expanding your exploration!
In every region, your progression is marked by the stages you complete. The further you go, the tougher the challenges-but the more rewarding the experience. Pay attention! You will not be able to go back to a previous stage once you have unlocked a higher one, adding a layer of intensity and keeping your progression through your journey.
We're also excited to tease the introduction of a dynamic weather system, augments, landmarks, and more, which will greatly impact your experience. But that's a story for another article.. Stay tuned!
